AUSTNET have developed a system to manage Software and
warranty licences including software and hardware maintenance and
licence agreements. It tracks: Microsoft,
Citrix, Novell, CA , Veritas , Cisco, Lotus , Checkpoint,
Watchguard, TrendMicro, Symantec, IBM, HP, and many others.

licence numbers by contract number, purchase date and their site/
branch location, also the expiry / renewal dates, and licence
program. Reports can be produced, advising clients of their software
licence assets, licence expiry dates and maintenance or warranty
agreements. These reports can be used to identify and track
renewals, or reassignments to different offices. Similarly they can
be used authorative documents reporting to management, auditors or
